The Department of Health and Human Services needs to accept tribal documentation to determine eligibility for Medicaid, the Navajo Nation's top health official said.
HHS accepts some forms of tribal documentation but only for the lowest tier of service. To receive the highest level, a U.S. birth certificate or similar identification must be presented.More
